Celebrating Four Years of Friendship, Culture, and Community
FilAus proudly celebrated its fourth anniversary with a memorable gathering, marking another milestone in its journey of bringing people together through friendship, culture, and community spirit. Members, supporters, and distinguished guests came together for an evening filled with celebration, appreciation, and reflection on the organisation’s continued growth and achievements.
The program showcased a variety of vibrant traditional and modern cultural performances that highlighted the diversity and heritage embraced by the FilAus family. These performances reflected the organisation’s commitment to preserving cultural traditions while fostering a welcoming and inclusive community.
The celebration was made even more meaningful by the attendance of honoured guests, including Mayor Habi, whose presence recognised the valuable contributions FilAus continues to make within the community.
A special part of the evening was dedicated to acknowledging the dedication of the organisation’s volunteers. Their selfless service, commitment, and passion have played a significant role in the success of FilAus over the past four years, demonstrating the true spirit of volunteerism and community service.
Members also came together to sing the FilAus theme song, “That’s What Friends Are For,” creating a heartfelt moment that symbolised the friendships, support, and unity that have become the foundation of the organisation.
The festivities continued with an exciting raffle draw, bringing plenty of anticipation, laughter, and celebration as lucky winners received a variety of prizes, adding to the joyful atmosphere of the evening.
